Rediscovery, 1974

In July 1974, Weldon spotted Barbara in the distance, walking across campus at BYU, where she had enrolled in summer school. He asked her to go to the movie “Its a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World” (starring Jimmy Durante) at BYU’s Varsity Theatre on July 24, 1974.

This photo was taken 2 1/2 weeks before that event, on the day of Kimberly’s blessing:
