1999

Barbara holding the Mayflower’s boat anchor during a visit to Plymouth, MA, July 1999. Though unaware at the time, Weldon is a 10th great grandson of John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley. Together they had 10 children, all of whom lived to adulthood. Today they have more living descendants than any other Mayflower immigrants.
Most pianists can comfortably play four octaves at once. The story goes that Mozart—not satisfied with four octaves—used his nose to play a fifth octave. Missy outdid even Mozart by using both feet to play seven octaves!

NIck, 1999, about 19 years old. Nick was called as a missionary to the Japan Kobe Mission and entered the Provo Missionary Training Center in August 1999. (The Kobe Mission was dissolved during his mission, so he was released from the Japan Nagoya Mission August 3, 2001.)
